Naguit et al. (2017): W1 --Low rise -Wood,Light frame
Description
Name: Naguit et al. (2017): W1 --Low rise -Wood,Light frame | General comments: Wood, light frame (W1): The post-event building survey was conducted in the island of Bohol in the Philippines. The survey consisted of 100 urban and rural villages, covering a total of 25,862 structures. Majority of the structures are residential houses, representing the building stocks with one to two storeys. W1 represents the structures with walls made of plywood, gypsum board, bamboo and other wooden materials with light framing. The total structure count of W1 in the assembled database is around 8,100.
Expert opinion on repair and reconstruction costs have been elicited from local engineers and contractors, from which the damage indices (DI) were computed. The DI served as multipliers to fragility estimates resulting to the vulnerability function. Valid for: PHL
