Description
Name: Martinez2012-CR/LFM/5storeys | General comments: Definition of limit states: Slight ( 0.7Dy ), Moderate ( Dy ), Extensive ( Dy+0.25(Du-Dy) ), and Complete ( Du ); where Dy and Du are the yielding and the ultimate displacement respectively.
To estimate the standard deviations, it is assumed that for each value of Sdk (spectral displacement for damage state k) the damage is distributed in a binomial way (or beta equivalent). The probabilities of the other damage states are obtained by setting the k threshold probability equal to 50%. Then, by a mean squared error analysis, the typical deviations are estimated for each damage state (p. 45)
