Liao (2006) - Reinforced Masonry Wall, Moderate Code (4-7 stories)
Description
Name: Liao (2006) - Reinforced Masonry Wall, Moderate Code (4-7 stories) | General comments: In the paper, the fragility curve is defined by a medium value of PESH (Potential Earth Science
Hazard) demand parameter and a standard deviation (β) of the natural logarithm of the spectral displacement for damage state. In this research, only the uncertainty of ground motion demand are used to represent the total variability of the damage state, and β is the standard deviation of the natural logarithm of the spectral displacement from the recorded earthquake data.
In this research, for each building class there is at least one building selected as prototype structure in the analytical fragility analysis. The medium value of the fragility curve for each building class is based on the results of analyses of those prototype buildings and engineering judgment.
Capacity curves and fragility curves for High-Code, Moderate-Code and Low-Code are based on modern code (e.g., 2000 Taiwan Seismic design code)Valid for: TWN
