Kobe dataset (HEPC's bridges): single and multi span bridges$Paragraph$Northridge dataset (Caltrans' bridges): single and multi span bridges, different skewness and different soil type.$Paragraph$Two different methods are used. Method 1: the curves are independently developed for different states of damage. Method 2: the curves are constructed dependently on each other in such a way that the log-standard deviation is common to all fragility curves.$Paragraph$Fragility functions for single bridge column are also shown for method 1 and method 2.$Paragraph$Empirical curves have been estimated both for the main class (RC bridge, Caltran and HEPC) and for some more detailed classes (Span, Skew and Soil). In fact, the assumption that the bridges represent a sample which is statistically homogeneous (and for this reason a unique big class can be considered) it is not true for the Caltran's bridges.
